Randy Henderson

2007 Beacon Award Recipient

This award, as the name would suggest recognizes someone who is a shining light in our community and who has gone the extra mile.  It should go to someone who eagerly shares their knowledge, time and talents.  This award should be given to someone who is a professional and has demonstrated a commitment in times of challenge, direction in times of confusion and whose character defines what it means to be dependable and accountable.  They are the first to celebrate, congratulate and encourage someone else‘s success.  It is this kind of energy and commitment that will make a difference in this community.  This individual will be the first to tell you that I have been blessed and I owe it all to my Lord and Savior.

In Matthews 20:27 it reads: “And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant.”   Randy B. Henderson, Jr. you have been that kind of leader in this community and you are the keeper of the 2007 Rochester Black Business Association Beacon Award.
